Terms of Service

Conditions governing access to and use of The Long Run Group websites and services connected with Runner.
LEGAL & TRUST

Important. These materials describe how The Long Run Group (“TLR”) presents its website and related services, based on the current implementation in this project. They are not legal advice and are not represented as final or binding until a verified contracting party, applicable law, and counsel review are completed. Where a statement depends on corporate registration, hosting region, or contractual arrangements TLR has not published, the text explains the limitation instead of assuming facts.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the websites, applications, and related services operated by or on behalf of the verified legal operator of TLR services (not yet published on this site) (“TLR,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), including thelongrun.group and pages that link to these Terms. By accessing or using our services, you agree to these Terms and the policies referenced here. If you do not agree, do not use our services.

1. Agreement and order of precedence

These Terms form a binding agreement between you and the verified legal operator of TLR services (not yet published on this site) when you use our public websites, submit forms, create or use an account where offered, or otherwise interact with TLR digital services described on this site. If you enter into a separate written agreement with TLR for Runner or other paid or enterprise services (for example an order form, master services agreement, or SaaS agreement), that agreement controls for the services it covers. Where there is a conflict between these Terms and an executed customer agreement, the executed agreement prevails for the subject matter of that agreement. Policies linked from these Terms (including the Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and Acceptable Use Policy) are incorporated by reference.

2. Definitions

In these Terms: “Site” means the public marketing and informational websites published under thelongrun.group and related domains TLR designates. “Runner” means TLR’s marketing infrastructure product and related workspace features described on platform pages, when and as made available to you under contract. “User,” “you,” and “your” mean any visitor, account holder, or authorized user. “Content” means text, graphics, software, documentation, and other materials TLR or licensors make available. “User Content” means information you submit through forms, accounts, or Runner where applicable. “Services” means the Site, early-access authentication flows, and any TLR products or support TLR makes available to you.

3. Eligibility

You must be able to form a binding contract under applicable law to use the Services. If you use the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization. The Services are intended for business and professional use unless TLR states otherwise. You must provide accurate information when registering or submitting forms and keep account credentials and email access secure.

4. Description of services

The Site provides information about Runner, research and journal content, academy materials, developer documentation for the static site, integration themes, and forms for contact, demo requests, newsletter signup, sales inquiries, and early-access login. Feature availability depends on TLR configuration, your account status, and applicable law. TLR may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site or Services with or without notice, subject to any contrary commitments in an executed customer agreement. Descriptions on platform and solutions pages are informational and may not reflect every deployment or roadmap item.

5. Accounts, authentication, and early access

Where early access or login is enabled, TLR may use email magic links via Supabase Auth rather than passwords on the public login flow. You are responsible for securing access to your email account and for activity under your account. You must notify TLR promptly of unauthorized use. Terms for production Runner workspaces, role-based access, and organizational accounts are set out in product agreements and documentation . OAuth or other sign-in methods appear on the Site only when explicitly configured.

6. Acceptable use

You must use the Services lawfully and in accordance with the Acceptable Use Policy. Prohibited conduct includes abuse of forms or RPC endpoints, interference with security controls, infringement of intellectual property, and use of AI-assisted features to produce unlawful or deceptive material. TLR may investigate violations and take action as described in the Acceptable Use Policy and Section 15 of these Terms.

7. Intellectual property

TLR and its licensors retain all rights in the Site, Runner, and Content except as expressly granted. Your use of materials on the Site is limited as described in the Intellectual Property & Copyright policy. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from TLR Content except as permitted by law or written permission. TLR may use feedback you provide as described in the Intellectual Property policy once verified .

8. Privacy and cookies

TLR’s processing of personal data in connection with the Site and related flows is described in the Privacy Policy. Use of cookies and similar technologies is described in the Cookie Policy. By using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read those policies. Where TLR processes personal data as a processor on your behalf in Runner, the Data Processing Agreement and your customer agreement apply.

9. Fees, trials, and beta features

Pricing and payment terms for paid Runner or other offerings are set out on solutions pages and in order forms or invoices . TLR may offer free access, trials, or beta features “as is” with limited support. Beta and early-access features may change or be withdrawn without liability except as required by an executed agreement. Taxes, currency, and billing disputes are handled per your commercial agreement .

10. Disclaimers

THE SITE AND SERVICES (OTHER THAN EXPRESS WARRANTIES IN AN EXECUTED AGREEMENT) ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TLR DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY the law applicable to the verified contracting party once confirmed. TLR does not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, that defects will be corrected, or that marketing descriptions match every customer environment. Research, journal, academy, and platform pages are general information, not legal, financial, or professional advice. Jurisdiction-specific disclaimer language must be confirmed by counsel .

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, TLR AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SITE OR SERVICES. TLR’S AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SITE WILL NOT EXCEED limits stated in an executed commercial agreement or in an updated Terms version once counsel confirms enforceable language. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those jurisdictions, TLR’s liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

12. Indemnity

You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless TLR and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your User Content, your use of the Services in violation of these Terms or applicable law, or your violation of third-party rights . TLR may assume exclusive defense and control of any matter subject to indemnification, and you will cooperate with TLR’s defense.

13. Third-party services and links

The Site may link to third-party websites, integrations, or services TLR does not control. TLR is not responsible for third-party content, terms, or privacy practices. Use of Supabase, email delivery, hosting, and other infrastructure is subject to those providers’ terms when TLR engages them. Subprocessors TLR uses in a processor role may be listed on the Subprocessors page once verified. Customer-configured integrations in Runner are your responsibility.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the law applicable to the verified contracting party once confirmed, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts or tribunals in the courts or tribunals identified in an updated Terms version once confirmed have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms or the Site, unless TLR and you agree otherwise in writing or mandatory law requires a different forum . You may have statutory rights as a consumer that cannot be waived by contract; nothing here limits those rights where applicable.

15. Suspension and termination

TLR may suspend or terminate access to the Site or your account if TLR reasonably believes you violated these Terms, the Acceptable Use Policy, or applicable law, or to protect the Services or other users. You may stop using the Site at any time. Provisions that by nature should survive (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, and governing law) survive termination. Data handling after termination of Runner services is governed by your DPA and customer agreement .

16. Changes to these Terms

TLR may update these Terms by posting a revised version on the Site with a new effective date. Material changes will be communicated as TLR determines appropriate . Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance where permitted by law. If you do not agree to updated Terms, you must stop using the Services.

17. General provisions

These Terms are the entire agreement between you and TLR regarding the Site to the extent they are not superseded by an executed customer agreement. If any provision is unenforceable, the remainder remains in effect. TLR’s failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without TLR’s consent; TLR may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. Notices to TLR should be sent via company contact or request demo / sales unless TLR publishes a dedicated legal notice channel unless TLR publishes another channel.

18. Contact

Questions about these Terms: contact TLR via company contact or request demo / sales. General inquiries: contact or company contact. Sales and enterprise agreements: contact sales.
