Important. These materials describe how The Long Run Group (“TLR”) presents its website and related services, based on the current implementation in this project. They are not legal advice and are not represented as final or binding until a verified contracting party, applicable law, and counsel review are completed. Where a statement depends on corporate registration, hosting region, or contractual arrangements TLR has not published, the text explains the limitation instead of assuming facts.
This Cookie Policy explains how The Long Run Group (“TLR,” “we,” “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies on thelongrun.group and related pages. It should be read with the Privacy Policy. Personal data collected through forms and accounts is primarily described there; this policy focuses on device storage technologies.
1. What are cookies and similar technologies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, pixels, and SDK storage. They may be set by TLR (first-party) or by third parties whose content or scripts appear on pages (third-party). Duration may be session-based or persistent depending on purpose.
2. Why we use these technologies
TLR may use cookies and similar storage to operate the Site securely, remember preferences, maintain login sessions, understand how the Site is used, and—only if implemented and disclosed after audit—for analytics or marketing measurement .
3. What we know from this repository (not a complete inventory)
A live cookie and storage audit of production hosting, CDN configuration, and all page templates is required before publishing a definitive cookie list. Until that audit completes, the following reflects engineering documentation and code review—not an exhaustive inventory:
- Supabase Auth / client libraries may use browser storage or cookies to maintain login sessions on login.html. Exact names, domains, and durations depend on Supabase project configuration .
- Theme, navigation, and layout scripts (Webflow export, TLR nav/footer bundles) may set functional storage for UI behavior .
- Marketing analytics or advertising pixels (for example Google Analytics or ad networks) were not identified in a repository review of primary pages at drafting time. Production deployments, tag managers, or hosting injects may differ a production technical audit.
Do not rely on this section as a cookie register. Individual cookie names, providers, purposes, and retention periods will be listed only after verification.
4. Categories of cookies (pending audit)
TLR intends to classify technologies into the categories below once audited. The “Status” column will be populated after technical review—not with fabricated rows.
| Category | Typical purpose | Status on site |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Security, load balancing, form and login operation, fraud prevention | Inventory pending technical audit |
| Functional | Remember preferences and improve usability | Inventory pending technical audit |
| Analytics | Understand aggregate site usage | No third-party analytics confirmed in repo review; audit required |
| Marketing | Advertising measurement or retargeting | Not confirmed in repo review; audit required |
5. Consent and legal requirements
Where applicable law requires consent for non-essential cookies, TLR provides a consent banner (tlr-cookie-consent.js) on key public pages. Google Analytics loads only if a measurement ID is set in assets/js/tlr-site-config.js and you choose Accept analytics. Rejecting non-essential cookies stores that choice in local storage and does not load analytics. Essential storage for login and site operation may still be required. Confirm applicable rules for your jurisdiction with counsel.
6. Managing cookies and storage
You can control cookies through browser settings (block, delete, or notify). Browser-specific guidance is available from your browser vendor. Opt-out tools for certain analytics or advertising networks may apply if TLR deploys those services . TLR will publish additional controls here if a on-site preference center is deployed .
7. Third-party cookies
Embedded content, fonts, or scripts from third parties may set their own cookies. TLR does not control third-party practices. Review third-party policies when those services are confirmed on the Site .
8. Relationship to the Privacy Policy
When cookie or storage data constitutes personal data, processing is also governed by the Privacy Policy (lawful bases, retention, rights, and contacts).
9. Changes to this Cookie Policy
TLR may update this policy when technologies change or after cookie audits. Updates will be posted with a new effective date .
10. Contact
